As I moved into my flat in student halls, I was too excited to care about all the nonsense people had warned me about. Nonsense like not spending too much in your first few weeks, look after your diet and more importantly, what James told me about getting out for a bit.
Instead, I overspent on everything, drank way too much and ate utter rubbish. The working side of things wasn’t an issue yet, I was settling in and meeting my new drinking buddies. I mean, I managed to get myself a part-time job the day after I moved in, but that was a weekend thing and the uni course wasn’t due to start for another few weeks.
